04 Jun INDEPENDENCE DAY PARADE T-SHIRTS ARE NOW AVAILABLE

Get ready for the 29th annual Independence Day Celebration on Sanibel! T-shirts are now on sale at Bank of the Islands located at 1699 Periwinkle Way, for $10 each while they last ($12 for XXL). Artwork for this year’s theme, Seas the Day, was designed by Dave Drotleff. The annual Sanibel & Captiva Islands Independence Day Parade is scheduled for Thursday, July 4th, beginning at 9:30a.m. at the intersection of Periwinkle Way and Tarpon Bay Road. Parade route runs from Tarpon Bay road down Periwinkle Way and ends at Casa Ybel Road. Note, Periwinkle will be closed from Donax Street to Tarpon Bay Road starting at 9a.m. and will reopen around noon. Arrive early and get a good spot to view the parade!
