15 Jun Sanibel is Open for Business!
If you are lucky enough to either live or vacation on Sanibel, you already know how many wonderful restaurants, retail shops, beaches, museums, hiking/walking trails, and other great places there are to visit on this Island. If you are wondering what you can do on Sanibel with the current restrictions everyone is living with, here are some of the types of places you can visit and spend time at.
Beach sites that are currently open as of June 12, 2020:
Bowman’s Beach Park, Sanibel Island
Causeway Islands, Sanibel Island
Turner Beach Park, Sanibel Island
Alison Hagerup Beach Park, Captiva Island
Andy Rosse Lane Park, Captiva Island
Please note, while enjoying our beaches, we encourage you to follow appropriate social distancing and safety protocols issued by the CDC and OSHA.
Restaurant, Bar, & Nightclub Info as of June 12, 2020:
Restaurants, bars and other vendors licensed to sell alcoholic beverages for consumption on the premises, are operating at 50% of their indoor capacity. Bar areas may be open with seated service only. To avoid people crowding around bar areas, you must be seated at the bar in order to be served. Outdoor seating is permissible with appropriate social distancing. This does not apply to night clubs.

Retail, Shops, Gyms as of June 12, 2020:
In-store retail businesses, including gyms and fitness centers, can operate at full capacity but should maintain appropriate social distancing and sanitation protocols.
