Sanibel Recreation Center Opens Tuesday, November 29th Free to Community
We are excited to announce that the Sanibel Recreation Center will be open FREE to the community with limited amenities Tuesday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. starting Tuesday, November 29th!

The following amenities and programs will be available:

  • Fitness Center with weights, cardio equipment and stretching area
  • Restrooms and locker rooms with showers
  • Community Room (Osprey Room) with complimentary WiFi
  • Free Yoga Class with Patricia Gennity on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:00 a.m.
  • Complimentary Youth Program on Saturdays 12/3, 12/10 and 12/17 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for kindergarten through 8th grade.
 

Now Offering Free Drop-In Youth Fun Day Program on Saturdays!

Drop by on any of the following Saturdays: 12/3, 12/10 and 12/17 and leave the kiddos with us! The Saturday Fun Day program will run between the hours of 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. for children grades K-8. Please make sure to send your child(ren) with a bagged lunch, water, and a snack. Our program will include arts & crafts, games and more! This is a great opportunity for our island youth to reconnect with friends and for parents/guardians to continue to work on their personal recovery efforts.

Community Holiday Event!

Stay tuned for more information on a Community Holiday Event to be held at the Sanibel Recreation Center on Saturday, December 17th from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Mark your calendars!
More information to come on membership options for current members and potential members as we continue recovery and repair efforts to many of our amenities such as the pools, tennis/pickleball courts and gymnasium.
