CITY OF SANIBEL PARTNERS WITH LEE TRAN FOR ON-ISLAND SHUTTLE SERVICE
Sanibel, FL – The City of Sanibel today announced a partnership with LeeTran to provide temporary ground transportation on Sanibel and Captiva islands. Beginning tomorrow, Friday, October 21, 2022, LeeTran will operate two shuttle bus routes to help residents move through the islands. The hours of operation are 8:00am – 6:00pm and the service is free.
The Sanibel route will begin at the Sanibel Captiva Chamber parking lot, with additional stops at the following locations: Jerry’s Plaza, Bailey’s Center, Ding Darling Overflow Lot, Bowmans Beach Road, and South Seas Island Resort. The Captiva route will begin at South Seas Island and follow the reverse route to the Sanibel Captiva Chamber.
Both routes will operate on a continuous loop during the hours of operation (8:00am – 6:00pm)
