At yesterday’s Community Update, which was held at the Collaboratory at 2031 Jackson Street, Fort Myers, FL, and broadcast on Facebook Live, viewers on Facebook could not see the screen used for presentations. This news release is being issued to provide residents and businesses with the information that was presented.
Lee County Property Appraiser, Matt Caldwell
Matt Caldwell, the Lee County Property Appraiser attended the meeting and demonstrated where owners of single-family residences can find the market value for their structure which is necessary to determine if repairs to a structure are below or exceed the requirements of the FEMA 50% rule. The City of Sanibel is grateful for Mr. Caldwell’s participation in the community update.
