The Island Inn is open right now and accepting reservations for pass-holding Property Owners, Businesses & Relief Workers! Interested parties are instructed to call the Inn directly at (239) 472-1561. Our 12 Luxury Suites in our Matthews Lodge were built to Cat 5 standards in 2017 and performed amazingly. Matthews Lodge Gulf View Luxury Suites, details:
Spacious Gulf view suite, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom with Full electric, Cold A/C, Hot Water & WiFi. Each suite includes dishwasher, living/dining room, tile floors, private bath with dual vanity/sinks, large screened balcony overlooking the Gulf, wet bar, one king bed, one queen pullout sofa, 55” & 40” flat screen LCD HD TVs, DVD/CD Player and smart phone docking. Know Before You Book:
  • You must have a valid City of Sanibel Hurricane Pass at time of booking.
  • No pets or emotional support animals – No exceptions.
  • The total amount of the stay is due at time of booking.
  • Reservations cancelled or modified within 30 days of the arrival date result in full forfeiture of deposit. No-shows and early departures charged 100% of original total stay amount.
  • 2 night minimum stay.
  • Check-in time is 3PM and check-out time is 10AM.
  • Maximum occupancy is 4. No exceptions.
  • Minimum age to reserve is 25.
  • A hold in the amount of $500 is placed on your credit card at time of check-in.
  • No food or beverage outlets on property.
  • No guaranteed beach access on property.
  • Access is provided to your unit and assigned parking only.
  • No moving trucks, vans, rental trucks, trailers, campers, RVs, boats, etc.
  • Two parking spaces for standard four wheel two axle vehicles only.
  • There are no elevators. All units are accessed by stairs.
  • WiFi service is provided but not guaranteed.
  • Property is 100% smoke free.
  • Access to Sanibel Island is regulated by the City of Sanibel.
  • All guests must abide by City of Sanibel policies in place, including but not limited to: curfew, speed limit, etc. All policies can be found at https://www.mysanibel.com/
  • Ongoing construction taking place at and around the Island Inn, indefinitely.
  • Guests assume personal responsibility & liability for themselves and their property – Enter at your own risk
